The Bogs Urban Walker is a waterproof shoe with a non-slip outsole. The lightly elasticized collar allows for a snug fit, keeping your feet warm and dry. The flexible outsole gives you a high level of comfort all day or night.
The Urban Walker is designed to provide you with non-slip performance in the outdoors. You can tread through the snow or across a stream in these waterproof shoes. These shoes are NOT designed for restaurant wear.
Many slip resistant shoes are treated with protective chemicals by the manufacturer. They may have waterproofing protectants, leather protectants, etc. In order to help enact the slip-resistant characteristics of the shoe you may find it helpful to scuff the bottom soles of the shoes. You can do this by scuffing them on concrete surfaces or by rubbing the bottom soles with sandpaper.
